As the owner intended to use the yacht for racing as well as cruising, weight was a critical consideration during the build, and every item going onboard was carefully weighed. Louise therefore comprises an aluminium hull and composite deck and superstructure, while her interior is based on foam sandwich panels. The EC6 carbon stays and a carbon mast from Southern Spars ensure low weight and optimal rigidity.

Thanks to large superstructure windows, Louise’s spacious interior bathes in natural light. The reverse stern, which makes for a sporty look, includes a large hydraulic door that doubles as a swim platform and tender dock. The large bimini stows away entirely within the superstructure.
