This year’s edition, slated from 21 to 24 June, will see an impatient Atalante take her place at the starting line. This fabulous family cruising yacht is currently proving her ability to entertain guests in a more leisurely way in the Caribbean, but we sense she will also feel equally at home on the regatta courses come the summer.
Launched as recently as 2015 for a repeat client who is also an eager racer, the first Truly Classic 127 also won the 2016 World Superyacht Award in the category ‘sailing yachts 30m to 39.9m’.
The judges described her as “a delight for the eyes, with supremely elegant lines. Atalante is an excellent performer on the water and embodies a good internal layout with superb guest and crew spaces and a well laid out engine room.
” We could not agree more, of course, and can hardly wait to see how Atalante performs in practice when unleashed in the Superyacht Cup.
