Having two cockpits allows hands-on sailors to split away from the passengers. The sprayhood over the aft steering cockpit gives much better protection than a deckhouse, and can be lowered in hot weather to enhance air flow. The central social cockpit with bimini provides optimal privacy when moored stern-to, especially once the aft dodger is raised.

Heartbeat’s special layout allows for a spacious aft owners’ cabin, as is preferred by many sailors, and three king-size guest cabins where beds are reached from the side instead of the front. The engine room is integrated in the interior with the rest of the machinery, and characterised by standing headroom and excellent noise insulation.
